Toby, salon owner, has been hairdressing for 20 years. He started his working career training with a salon group called Essanelle. Whilst working at an Essanelle Salon in his home town of Eastbourne, he trained with the company at their training centre on the top floor of D H Evans Oxford Street.

In an ever changing industry, Toby has always known the benefit of education by keeping himself at the height of his game. He has done this by attending courses and seminars with all the major houses of hairdressing, including: Wella studios in Mortimer Street, the Vidal Sassoon academy’s all over London and the L’Oreal and Redken studios in Hammersmith, where he has continued to grow his skills in cutting and colouring.

A firm believer in education as the key to change and growth, Toby Meyer has 20 years of experience in the Industry and he has studied with some of the biggest and best names in our industry, and puts his experiences to good use as the proud owner of a flourishing five floor Salon and manager of a staff of 30 stylists and trainees.

An educator for REDKEN since 2000, Toby has assisted at many Rap Events, Main Stage at Tribe 2006 and worked as a session stylist at fashion shows and international events as well as the international and European Symposiums held by Redken. He recently was the Host and Compare of the 2010 REDKEN Connects Tour in Edinburgh, Manchester and London.

He sums up his approach as simply that he loves his job and loves passing knowledge on to others. We invite you to take advantage of his drive and experience too.

His aims are to grow the existing business and continue to teach his own great team and others, hoping it can take him further in the industry he loves.
